Dying to Know: Knowledge, Support & Connection for the Rainbow Community

This event is presented by Hospice Waterloo Region and Spectrum. Bereaved Families of Ontario – Midwestern Region is honoured to be participating in a panel discussion “Overcoming challenges facing aging older adult members of the 2SLGBTQ+ Community: A discussion on community health, housing and loss & grief.”

The main objective of the Dying to Know project is to provide seniors with the knowledge, language, tools, and resources that can build understanding and confidence to navigate and engage with the health care and community support systems.

This event is for members of the rainbow community, their allies, and professionals who would like to learn how to better support 2SLGBT+ older adults.
