EDUCATION SESSION: Grieving the death of a sibling
April 10, 2024 @ 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Siblings are often called the forgotten grievers whose loss and pain may not be acknowledged as support networks focus on parents after a death. However, there is no other relationship quite like the one you have with your sibling. There may be few people who know you as well, or have been there for life’s ups and downs. Sibling grief can also be compounded if the relationship was complicated or challenging.
In this virtual education session in partnership with the Kitchener Public Library, learn more about grief after the death of a sibling, and take away ideas on how to cope.
Participants will be given an opportunity to share questions and/or experiences at the end of the session, but sharing is not required.
