Fall memorial honourees
On Saturday September 23, 2023 a memorial microforest of 100 trees and shrubs was planted at Voisin Park. This event, in partnership with Sustainable Waterloo Region and the City of Kitchener, created a collective expression of grief and love.
We hope this mircoforest becomes a place that you come back to visit when you want to reflect, when the memory of your person is calling you, or you want to feel connected again. We thank you for trusting us to create that space for you and we hope it continues to provide hope and meaning.
