Happy National Volunteer Week!

It’s National Volunteer Week from April 10 – 16 and we want to show gratitude to our volunteers for their incredible contribution to Bereaved Families of Ontario – Midwestern Region.

On Thursday April 14, 2016, we will be joining with fellow community hub members at The Family Centre (65 Hanson Ave., Kitchener) to celebrate volunteerism. Community Hub members will be sharing stories of impact from the people they serve who benefit so greatly from volunteers’ time and dedication. The evening will feature a performance by the Buddy Choir and light refreshments will be served.

This event is a drop-in from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with a formal agenda from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m.

Participating community hub members include: AFRO, Bereaved Families of Ontario – Midwestern Region, Facile Waterloo Region, Hummingbird Centre for Hope, Muslim Social Services, Planned Lifetime Networks and Waterloo Region Family Network.
