Living with Loss

Living with Loss is a peer grief support group for adults 18+. This is a space to connect with others are grieving a death of any kind.  

It runs three times per month from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. 

You do not have to attend every group. You are welcome to join at any point in your grief and attend for as long as you need the support. All Living with Loss groups are led by two trained peer support volunteers who have also experienced a death. 

Living with Loss groups are offered:

We kindly ask all virtual participants to have a working camera that stays on for the duration of the group. If this is not possible for you, dialing in to the Zoom meeting by phone may be an option. Please reach out.
Acknowledgement of Peer Support(Required)
Information and support offered by BFO-MR is provided in a peer-based environment. We do not offer counselling or therapy. Peer support means that our groups are facilitated by volunteers who have experienced a death and are in a place in their journey to give back. All volunteer facilitators have completed training and operate in accordance with BFO-MR’s mission and mandate.
