Support for teens

Good Grief is a six-week peer support group for teens 13-17. The goal of this program is to help teens learn about grief and how to cope when somebody in their life dies. The group is run by a Registered Social Worker (MSW) and a peer support volunteer.

In this group, teens will:

  • Explore their feelings about death and grief and develop strategies for expressing and responding to these emotions
  • Learn coping strategies and begin building a support network
  • Have opportunities for creative expression
  • Have a compassionate space to share memories of their person

Please fill out the registration form below. Once you hit ‘submit’, you will be taken to a page to schedule a meeting with our Program Coordinator as a next step in the process. Your registration is not considered complete until the meeting has been scheduled.
