Living with Loss
Living with Loss is a peer grief support group for adults 18+. This is a space to connect with others are grieving a death of any kind.
It runs three times per month from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
You do not have to attend every group. You are welcome to join at any point in your grief and attend for as long as you need the support. All Living with Loss groups are led by two trained peer support volunteers who have also experienced a death.
Living with Loss groups are offered:
- in Kitchener on the first Tuesday of the month (Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre)
- LOCATION CHANGE for November & December originally held in Waterloo will now be held in Central Library Kitchener Central Library Google Maps on the third Wednesday of the month.
- virtually, on the first Tuesday of the month – working camera is necessary to participate
PLEASE NOTE: The Waterloo location is currently experiencing construction issues. The location for this group is to be determined for November and December.
YOU MUST REGISTER FOR EACH GROUP YOU WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND. Space is limited, so only register if you know you can join. To cancel your registration, email support@bfomidwest.org or call 226-780-7236.
Registration closes at 12:00 p.m. on the day the group meets.
